My Story

My interest in fashion began in middle school, but didn't resurface again until I was in grade 12, seemingly lost on what to do next in my life. And despite almost failing a fashion class in my final year, I went onto study at Seneca. Starting first with Fashion Arts and then Fashion Business Management. Throughout my studies I discovered my mission to change how people view the bridal industry. Whether it be women, men or non-binary peoples, everyone deserves to look and feel their best on their wedding day, and it doesn't have to take a white dress to achieve that.

A Little More About Me

A girl thoroughly obsessed with cats and salmon sashimi, I've always struggled with trying to dress myself. Going from a pre-teen in middle school, not caring how I looked and only wearing graphic t-shirts and jeans, into a Catholic high school and wearing an uncomfortable uniform year-round, I never learned how to develop my own sense of style. Now, as a 26 year old, just starting her career, I've come to appreciate 'timeless' clothing and the idea of capsule collections, as well as developing your own sense of style outside of trends. This is because throughout my years in post secondary years, teachers drilled the importance of sustainability into our brains, and it makes everything easier to style. This is where part of my mission transformed. It was no longer just about making wedding dresses, it was about making inclusive alternative bridalwear. Many of us grow up thinking that white dresses are the pinnacle of beauty on our wedding day, but throughout the years, society has moulded into something more inclusive and accepting of people that are different. Fashion is no different and shouldn't be lagging behind, which is why I've made it my mission to provide people with beautiful pieces, alternative and traditional, that will make them feel comfortable and beautiful on their special day.
